In 2018 he was appointed as the General Manager. He brings over 20 years of experience in the aerospace market’s multidisciplinary technology development, engineering, and program management. Before his role at Astronautics, he held several key management positions at Elbit Systems and RSL. Saar holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion (Israel’s Institute of Technology). He served as an Israeli Navy SEAL officer. VP of Marketing Nir Itzhaky Nir Itzhaky joined Astronautics IL in August 2007, serving two periods as the VP for Business Development and Programs. Between the two periods, Nir served for four years as the CEO of Isorad Ltd. Nir worked for ten years in the IAI Aviation division as a Deputy Director for Avionics and as a Business Unit Manager in upgrade programs for military aircraft and helicopters. In his military background, Nir served as a Fighter Pilot in the Israeli Airforce for 28 years (Lt. Col.) Nir holds a B.Sc in Industrial Engineering & Management and M.Sc in Industrial Management from Ben Gurion University. VP of Operations Eran Katz Eran Katz joined Astronautics IL in 1997 and has held key roles, including System Engineer and Program/Project Manager. In 2018, he was promoted to VP of Operations, overseeing Production, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, and Customer Service. Eran brings over 27 years of expertise in multidisciplinary technology development, system engineering, program management, and operations within the avionics and industrial sectors. Eran holds a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Ariel University and an M.Sc. in Management of Technology, specializing in System Engineering, from the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT). He is also PMP® certified by the Project Management Institute. VP of Human Resources Lihi Tamari Lihi Tamari joined Astronautics IL in 2015 as a Human Resources manager and, since 2017, has been the VP of Human Resources. Lihi is a seasoned HR executive with over a decade of experience leading HR strategies in organizations developing and managing HR infrastructure in various-sized hi-tech and retail companies. Lihi holds a BA specializing in finance and information systems from the College of Management and an MBA from Derby University in Israel. VP of Finance Meir Donnenfeld Meir Donnenfeld joined Astronautics in 1991, serving as the Company’s Controller and later as the VP of Finance. Meir brings experience in Accounting, Financial Operations Management, Budgeting & Forecasting, Financial Planning, and Analysis & Taxes.
